A Generous Guest

I've got good news, and bad news:

First, I want to thank the person who used the donate button. Although the sum was small, it was something they didn't have to do and I appreciate the use of the tip jar.

Here's where it gets funny. The amount was 25 cents. Here's what I learned as a result:
  • The donate button works
  • Paypal charges 1.9-2.9% + 30 cents for each donation.
So the real question is, does that donation mean I owe paypay a nickel?

Thanks again, anonymous donor. And fuck you, paypal, for shamelessly raiding children's piggy bank.

That was entertaining. I don't know how the donation button works, but at least it works.
Thanks for your comment on my blog.

The question is, did they know it would cost you 5 cents when they donated?

Kinda like leaving a penny tip to insult a slow waitress.

Nah, I guess not.
