Mondays this Fall: Runaway

This series is dedicated to new shows coming this fall. I'll cover a show a day for the next month.

"Runaway"

When: Mondays, 9:00 PM EST
Who: Donnie Wahlberg, Leslie Hope, Dustin Milligan, Sarah Ramos
Where: The CW
What:

Think "The Fugitive," except with an entire family instead on Harrison Ford. It's about a family whose father was unjustly accused of a violent crime. The family is hiding under assumed names in, well, Iowa, while dear old dad searches for the evidence to clear his name.

The talent:

Good ol' Donnie. Older brother to one Mark Wahlberg, and former boy band star of NKOTB, he's actually strung together a pretty impressive acting career. He's really the only character of note. I think Leslie Hope was in Commander-in-Chief, and we all saw how that turned out.

Projected Longevity of the Show:

Strike one: it's on the CW.

Strike two: it's a boring plot, similar to a movie that came out last year that was so unmemorable I don't remember the title.

Strike three: it's up against football.

This show is D.O.A. Or D.O.P(ilot), as the case may be.

Projected Watchability:

Women: 1 out of 10
Men: 0 out of 10

There may be a a younger crowd that were huge NKOTB fans that still desperately would like to have sex with Wahlberg. I'm guessing not many though.
