Stardom

"So you want to be a rock 'n roll star, well listen now to what I say....
Just get an electric guitar, take some time, learn how to play...."

Ladies and gentlemen, all systems are a go. Lease is signed, I move in this weekend. I have no idea when I'll get the signs hung (hanged?), but I should have brochures soon. Business cards are in, a huge shipment from Staples arrived today, I haven't slept in about four months, and I've hooked up the coffee IV.

Hopefully, the months of hemorrhaging money are about to pay off in a big way. The website, though far from complete, is www.marbleheadvintagephotography.com. There's a good chance my blog will move there, so you might want to check it out. That is, providing anyone still reads my poor neglected blog. I know I have a couple faithfuls out there, (Nic, Blue) and I really appreciate that.

Random Fun Fact of the Wee Hours of the Morning:

Jim Carrey's In Living Color skit parodying Vanilla Ice is one of the most hilarious moments in Jim Carrey History.

I was a photographer until I carelessly lost my leg. I photographed weddings which was great fun and most rewarding as I met my partner at one :-)

I bet you're really excited at the prospect of your new business.

Good luck and enjoy!!

Thanks, Chandra and Philip!

Philip, you've piqued my interest--how does one "carelessly lose their leg?" If you don't mind me asking, of course.

Actually, I'm going to avoid doing weddings if I can (fiscally speaking). That said, I know first hand how very lucrative they are, so I might cave. I'd rather work in the comforts of my own studio, or in the home of a guest.

what does it take to become a faithful? I pass by at least once a day!

Hugo,

Then speak up, man! How can I affirm your faith if you watch from the shadows?

I'm not sure when this blog will be active again on a daily basis, but I appreciate the visits. I've started my own company, so I've just been too busy to blog.

As a fellow former Prof Writing Major, I feel obligated to remind you that the correct verb to use when referring to your sign is hung. Hanged should only be used in reference to a live thing being executed.

Just kidding, I only remembered because we actually went over this in my night class on Tuesday. Good luck with the business!
